One of the advantages of continuous learning is that you don't burn out so quickly. And another is that he doesn't fall behind. And for the third time...

From August 2023, Eszter Tokár took over the digital marketing tasks here at TESK Group.

Although this is a new task for Eszter within TESK, digital marketing itself is not new to her, nor is Eszter new to the company :), only this combination together is new.

So, for the third time, our financier became the content producer of the online world

Eszter, let me introduce you to the readers of the TESK Newsletter! Although it started in 2007  your TESK career, i.e. 16 years now, so what did you do?

YOU: Coming from the banking sector, I took over the work and financial part of the company. Usual tasks: summary, preparation and accounting of payroll, accounting and financial data.

TESK: After that, what else did you do at TESK?

YOU: Due to my work duties, a very good relationship developed between me and the temporary workers at the time. And when the project manager had to be replaced, I somehow ended up with the project and then the entire business on an exclusive basis. I handled the entire process by myself for roughly 50 people: I recruited, managed contracts, tried to keep marketing alive... It was a good time, I loved it. I got to incredible places through our projects and learned an amazing amount about the processes of companies in different fields. As a result of my work, I had something to do with the construction of subway 4, but I also organized people on missions to service the engines of stuck ocean liners. What stories they were! I could only talk about them for a long time.

But I also wanted to show them to others. Somewhere here, the idea was conceived, which then turned into studying long into the night: a making demonstration videos. At that time, it was not at all typical for anyone to do this. And I always wanted to show our partners the way I see them, and what's more, I want to get them to want to join. But over the years, I learned organizational development and also had managerial recruitment. Look. 16 years is enough for many things.

TESK: When did you start working in digital marketing?

YOU: I do not know. In 2011, if I remember correctly, I created TESK's first Facebook page. Even then there might have been Iwiw. But I thought this platform would have more power. I will never forget my first post. I wrote about the walk. And then it received more than 200 likes. I was shocked. I read a lot of American websites, I watched where they go and what they use. And I tried to do as much as possible at home. The instructional materials of the video editing software were also only in English. So I had to focus on this language instead of the German I was learning otherwise. Well, at first I wanted to cut my machine out of the window a couple of times. First, when I switched to a Macintosh, because I could use the necessary software better on them. Then, when I started learning how to use the digital world with a finance degree. I had a stroke. I loved it though!

TESK: Content production is also close to you, as you were the main actor in this too at TESK.

YOU: I have no idea how many shoots I've been through in the colors of TESK or outside of it. I always smiled when I arrived at the scene, and then they asked me when the cameraman would come. I had to realize this profession is not associated with a feminine image. But it is hard for me to imagine a more colorful and varied job. On one occasion, you receive occupational safety training so that you can go down into a mine to shoot among the monsters, on the next occasion, you are trained to shoot cameras at a chemical manufacturing company, dressed from head to toe in white protective clothing.

But I learned also pick up materials from a moving vehicle, mostly sitting on the back of a motorcycle, that's how it came to me OMV Curve Diary project as well (linked here now is the one in which I am exceptionally not only a cameraman but also an actor; it was not easy to pull it off this way. 😀 ). It was a 6-part series and was titled Hungary's most beautiful hiking trails. My goodness, how much I've learned since then! Anyway, I firmly believe in the power of this kind of interesting series. This is also reflected in the results obtained here.

TESK: What experience do you have in the field of digital marketing? Who have you created solutions for so far?

YOU: Managing and running social media campaigns, wordpress, including DIVI, then came the construction and management of the newsletter system, text and script writing, graphics, photography... I've worked on a variety of things.

But where it first came together, how you can build in the digital world and what opportunities you have, is a ClickMe Smart Solution. Here, web editing, e-commerce, newsletters, affiliate systems, multilingualism, building online and offline interfaces, graphic design... This is basically where I'm currently studying, here is my mentor, who opened the door to a completely new world and showed the possibilities of the digital space.

TESK: What changes have you planned for TESK in the field of digital marketing? What's new?

YOU: What did I plan? Hmmmm... When I came from TESK, the online area was not what I was dealing with, so I didn't see how you were doing. I looked around now. In the first round, the newsletter got a little boost. I have started blogging again, which is why I have now also targeted the website. Because the website is the basis of everything. Then, when it's done and everything is set up nicely and you've got the new look, it will be translated into quite a few languages, in which the blogs will also run. The goal is to reach and address foreign candidates.

Integrating ClickMe into your system resulted in easier and faster access to data for your visitors in the short term, and a digital business card as well. But I have also used it to create a quick landing page for a campaign, which is a simple and transparent interface for candidates.

In the meantime, we are updating the candidate database gathered over the past couple of years, and we are building the newsletter for them as well.

I think I could answer the question in a day. Rather, we will see it step by step as it is realized, and we will also inform the partners about the milestones.

TESK: How do you see why it will be especially important a digitization in recruitment? And what areas will it cover in the coming years?

YOU: Look. People's attachment to digital communities is getting stronger. Just look at how many people are on Facebook in certain professional groups... Or go to Reddit and read the threads, or there's Discord. Do you want to know them? Here is your chance. When I first talked about recruitment marketing around 2014, it is now clearly possible to approach the topic from this point of view: it is not always enough to just post a job advertisement. In the meantime, the company has to build its own brand, because unfortunately there is a place for everything in the online space. Especially for negative experiences. In addition, you must be able to give information about yourself. You must be able to channel potential candidates into your own database, but this is only possible with interesting content.

We created e.g. a Digital busy page and group, because we knew we would soon need external help. In a few months, the number of the group reached a  4500 by filtering quite strictly. For example, we can easily get a freelancer recruiter from here, if someone needs help with pre-screening, for example, or campaign managers who skillfully use social media. We are heading in that direction. And we can now establish all this for TESK's partners as well.

It should be taken into account that for each position, which are even now filled in weeks or even months, if they succeed at all, isn't it more worthwhile to build an online machine? and to gather candidates through it, which will remain there later. So, if you need it again, you don't have to start from scratch again. And the one-time assignment will be replaced by long-term cooperation, and lengthy interviews and multi-round admission procedures will be simplified by the forms and tests built into the system. They just made a short video content for us from Pakistan and an SEO blog article from America. With a few clicks, we found the ones that suit us. Out of thousands. And they did an excellent job with zero face-to-face interaction. It was an ideal solution for both parties, because nothing took up any of our time.

So, back to the question of why will it matter? Because it will save you time. And nobody likes to wait.

Thank you for the answers, may this activity be very successful!
