In the fall of 2019, we were once again in the fortunate position of being able to participate in the recruitment of employees for a newly built factory. Our colleague, who was selected for the task, has been working as an outsourced recruiter for several weeks to find the right candidates.
The company already indicated at the beginning of the recruitment that it would like to have a video supporting recruitment, so that the processes go more smoothly and we can address as many interested people as possible as soon as possible. Of course, our filming team was happy to be able to participate in such a project again.
So what should be the concept for the video? At the moment, there are no employees working there yet, because recruitment is currently underway, and we cannot even present the production process, as there are no machines yet! This is how we came up with the idea to ask those who came to the group interview and company presentation. The idea was good, but its implementation is already more difficult. The potential actors did not want to participate. Our filming team suddenly found itself in a new situation, where we need a new concept right now! They got into a car and drove to the factory site.
I think that anyone who has seen a factory under construction doesn't need to be told how grandiose it is. The girls were standing there between the offices made of containers and the construction machinery, and then the idea came!
Let's present the factory under construction from a bird's eye view, let's now let the recruitment staff take center stage so they can tell you why it's worth applying to this company. Fortunately, the HR Manager at the time was very flexible and willing to stand in front of the camera to talk about the company in a more personal tone. We like it when we can work with people who, like us, sometimes like to step out of their comfort zone.
The video was completed and fortunately the candidates liked it very much, and it became one of the best performing recruitment support videos during our career!
