A cover letter usually helps the employer get to know us a little better, our goals and what motivates us now and in the long term. With the help of this, you give a little insight into your personal affairs and they don't just see the dry data based on your CV.

If you are interested in what you should pay attention to when writing a motivation letter, then read on!

The first and most important thing is not to use stereotypes and avoid clichés if possible. Employers probably already have their mailboxes and databases full of candidates who have "excellent communication skills," or "are able to work independently and proactively," or are characterized by precision work. Try to include unique and truly unique qualities in your letter and possibly support them with previous examples, so you will be much more convincing from a professional point of view. Sell yourself to the employer!

It may require a little research work, but it is worth researching the person to whom we are addressing, as we can make our letter and application much more personal with this.

It is also important that the wording and content are to the point. There is no need to explain each job or feature through websites, the personal interview will be there for that. If they find you interesting, they will invite you anyway to get to know you better.

You have to strive for comprehensibility and for what you have to say to be attention-grabbing. Try to think with the employer's mind and write things that might interest him, taking into account the position you applied for.

If you have written the letter, it is worth going over it with another person so that they can see with fresh eyes any spelling mistakes, word repetitions, and how understandable and transparent the writing is when read over.

The motivation letter can also be attached as an attachment if the employer requests it separately for the application, but if not, we copy it into our application letter and attach the CV separately.

By applying these tips and steps, you are more likely to get closer to the job you want to get, and employers will also pay more attention to your application.
