From November 2023, Sántra Sánta will deal with one of our biggest recruitment projects, including the recruitment of engineers here at TESK Group.

Szandra is a specialist in online and digital marketing communication for candidates, so everything that is needed for TESK Group to be able to effectively address engineers in the market comes together with her.

TESK: Szandra, let us introduce you to the readers of the TESK Newsletter! Where did you work before this?
Sandra: I was a recruiter at the subsidiary of one of Hungary's largest HR service providers, where I participated in physical and mental recruitment and selection. In addition, I worked and am currently working as a trainer and as an individual developer.

TESK: if I understand correctly, you were already very active in terms of community life even during your student years. What did you do during your years at ELTE?
Sandra: Yes, I was already a very active member of the community in elementary school, first I was a mentor, I led a team and helped the integration of students coming to the university. Then, as a mentor coordinator, I led the mentioned mentoring system, I already held mini-trainings here, and this is where this journey as a trainer came from. Finally in the last year I was the chairman of the communication committee, here on the one hand I led the members of my own committee, on the other hand I was responsible for the appearances of the Student Self-Government, I sent out newsletters on a weekly basis, I edited the Self-Government website and I was also responsible for the appearance on social media.

TESK: Then you fell into recruitment. How did you get into that position?
Sandra: After completing the basic course I headed towards a master's degree in human resources, from which the direct path is the field of HR, often recruitment within it. On the one hand, I had an affinity for this, and on the other hand, having the right education was not a disadvantage either, but overall I was in the right place at the right time, and this is how my professional career at my first job went.

TESK: But you also dealt with English language training and education, as far as I know.
Sandra: Yes, I'm still doing that right now. I also started this during the basic course, I tutored math at first, then there was a demand from several places for individual English education both for children and adults, and since I speak English at a high level, I saw this as a very good opportunity.

TESK: During your time at TESK, what are your experiences, how to reach, approach and address the engineers?
Sandra: The access channel is a key issue. At the moment, the appeal is taking place in the newsletter, on the LinkedIn interface and on Instagram, and I am also curious to see which of these will be the most successful, whether it will bring any surprises. It is very important that I also put on my 'engineering hat', bring really relevant and interesting topics to the engineers and emphasize cooperation opportunities and common areas of interest. What is already a big lesson is how open they are to expressing their opinions. In our last questionnaire, half of the respondents were engineers, and I did not ask the entire LinkedIn audience about a specifically engineering topic.

TESK: What are you planning for the future in this area?
Sandra: I would like to make the engineering newsletters regular, with as fresh and interesting articles and news as possible, and the goal is to start a back-and-forth communication so that it is not just that we send something, start the connection, and the engineers either take it or not, but we also ask for their opinions on various topics.

TESK: Why do you think it's useful for a company to communicate, i.e. regularly give news about itself to its potential target audience?
Sandra: First of all, this helps potential customers - whether customers or job seekers - to get to know the company in question, and to know where they can find experts if they ever need any services. On the other hand, trust can also increase if, on one such occasion, the company provides an insight into what is going on behind the scenes, since everyone prefers to work with a transparent, reliable company, rather than with one they know nothing about. And thirdly so the company also gets closer to customers, communication can start, and customers' needs and feedback can be incorporated.

Thank you for the answers, may this activity be very successful!
